Sunday, May 26th, 1-4pm

$30, supplies not included

Our long pose sessions consist of a single pose over a three-hour session, with two short breaks in between. Participants are welcome to bring painting supplies provided they use odorless or low-odor solvents (please confirm with Nat beforehand). Like our life drawing sessions, this is not an art lesson, and supplies are not included. However, we welcome all experience levels and promote an inclusive artmaking environment! Please note: To ensure we meet our minimum attendance requirement, everyone must book and pay in advance for this event!

*Please note that our life drawing sessions are not art lessons. They are an opportunity for creatives of all levels to gather and draw in a relaxed environment. If you would like to take art lessons, visit the lessons page.

About our life drawing sessions

Above: Chalk pastel life portraits by local artist Ann Arseneau-Beers on black paper.

These sessions are a great opportunity to hone your drawing skills in a relaxed, supportive environment. Beginners aged 18 and up are welcome to attend!

Entry is $20 at the door, or $15 (non-refundable) when paid in advance. Supplies are not included, but we do have some easels available to use on a first-come, first-served basis.

Drawing sessions are held from 6:30-8:30, beginning with short warm-up poses, which gradually increase in time over the course of the evening.

We will be holding life drawing on a monthly basis over the 2023-2024 season, so be sure to follow Nat or Caitlin on Instagram to stay up to date on our next session!
